Penang Listed in the 100 Best Food Regions in the World

As we are closing the year 2023 soon, an international food website, Taste Atlas has named Penang in their list of 100 Best Food Regions in the World.

Penang was ranked at the 39th spot with the website naming assam laksa, rotiboy, Penang hokkien mee, apam balik and nasi kandar as its best dishes. Although many Penangites and Malaysians may have different opinions towards the foods that were named as the best dishes, nevertheless, we are proud that Penang is listed within the top 50 regions.

Italy is one of the biggest winners as 12 of its regions were ranked among the top 50 with France at the second spot with 7 regions.
