Sawadikap! Located at Lebuh Tye Sin (commonly known as the 4th Street Club by the locals), Chern Ka’s Home Recipe is a relatively new Thai eatery in town. From its interior to the food menu, Chern Ka emphasizes on localised tastes and flavours with their home recipe as its name suggested. Meanwhile, you could still find some of the authentic Thai food here.

BeĀngels Specialty Coffee was established on 1 April 2016. BeĀngels, be caffeinated. BeĀngels means the soul of the coffee beans. Located at the ground floor of Island Plaza, BeĀngels Specialty Coffee is best known for their coffee and breakfast.

Located at a relatively quiet location from the city centre of Bukit Mertajam, Ang Ang’s Roastery focuses on serving good coffee and pastries. Instead visiting their new branch at T Place, GTC’s team visited their first branch.

2F+ Coffee Roastery was established 9 years ago. It was started as an interior design studio which was located at the 2nd floor of a shoplot. Besides specialising in coffee, this cafe that tucked in a vintage wooden house also serves Western delights and desserts.

The Warung is now opening up a second branch in Common Ground, a co-working space located on the second floor of Moulmein Rise Shoppes. Besides their favourite sweet waffles menu, The Warung at Common Ground is serving brunch and lunch meals!

Without an apparent signboard, Syarikat.Co is most probably the only cafe in Penang that uses the backdoor entrance in a hidden alley. Syarikat.Co is a cafe with retro office theme situated in a neighbourhood.
