Taiwanese Tourist Gets Lost In Penang, Malaysian Couple Helps Her

It is always scary when you’re a tourist and you get lost in a foreign city that you’re not familiar of. A Taiwanese tourist faced the fear when she was in Penang for travel, well, fortunately only for a short moment.

According to her Xiao Hong Shu post which was viraled on social media, she was scheduled to fly to Kuala Lumpur from Penang on December 27th. After walking around George Town for about 8 to 9 km and seeking assistance from Google, she still had no idea which was the right bus to board to get to the Penang airport.

Just when her frustration begins to strike, she met a local Indian couple and decided to ask them for help.

The couple was not only patient in guiding her but they took the extra mile in making sure she got to her destination.

“They were extremely patient. They took the bus with me until the interchange station and even paid for my bus fares!” the tourist revealed and was touched by how friendly the couple was.

When she reached her destination, the couple even handed the tourist some money and constantly reminded her of the bus route before the pair eventually left the tourist.

The sight of them leaving has left her feeling unexplainably teary.

She also headlined her article to thank Penangites with her own words of gratitude.
