Cendol is an iced sweet dessert that contains droplets of pandan-flavoured green rice flour jelly, coconut milk and palm sugar syrup. It is commonly found in Southeast Asia with Penang one of the best place to try it out.
However, cendol is developed differently in different cities. In Penang, besides the green jelly, some stalls add additional toppings such as the sweetened red beans and durians. You can easily find cendol vendors by the roadside, coffee shops and food courts.
